Adaptive Shield Unveils Cutting-Edge ITDR Capabilities to Combat Identity-Related Threats

Adaptive Shield has unveiled its advanced Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) capabilities at the Black Hat USA 2023 event. This announcement aims to equip organizations with robust tools to counteract identity-related risks. Paired alongside its SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) solution, ITDR assumes a pivotal role in securing the entire spectrum of the SaaS ecosystem.

The ITDR suite, introduced by Adaptive Shield, is fortified with a range of security measures meticulously designed to identify and counter threats linked to identities. These measures are rooted in key Indicators of Compromise (IOCs), which serve as critical forensic indicators, signaling potential breaches encompassing malware, data leaks, anomalous behavior, and other suspicious activities. The ITDR system effectively bridges the divide between continuous identity governance and the detection of identity threats within the expansive SaaS ecosystem. It encompasses a gamut of strategies, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), along with unique User & Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) capable of unveiling threats stemming from compromised identities.

This unveiling comes on the heels of Adaptive Shield's strategic partnership with Blackstone, a Fortune 500 entity and a client of Adaptive Shield. Maor Bin, the Co-Founder and CEO of Adaptive Shield, emphasized the critical role of ITDR within the realm of SSPM. He noted that prevalent ITDR solutions primarily target Endpoint and Active Directory protection, failing to effectively address the multifaceted SaaS environment. With the shift from on-premises to SaaS solutions, the potential for a security gap arises, necessitating a nuanced approach. Adaptive Shield's distinctive prowess lies in its integration with over 130 applications, ensuring a comprehensive defense across various attack surfaces. The company's technology seamlessly cross-references and analyzes contextual events from disparate sources, facilitating the precision detection of sophisticated identity-centric threats.

Adaptive Shield's holistic suite empowers organizations to anticipate, identify, and counteract SaaS-related threats. This arsenal includes provisions for Misconfiguration Management, SaaS-to-SaaS Access and Discovery, Identity & Access Governance, Device-to-SaaS Risk Management, and the latest addition, Identity Threat Detection & Response (ITDR). This comprehensive toolkit is set to reshape how businesses navigate the dynamic landscape of SaaS security challenges, ensuring that their digital assets remain impervious to emerging threats. ###
