Checkmarx recently announced the appointment of Mark Osmond as Vice President of Worldwide Channels and Alliances. In this role, Osmond will leverage the power of the company’s partner relationships to generate new business opportunities, increase revenue growth and expand Checkmarx’s channel ecosystem.
We sat down with Mark to discuss his new role at the company and why he's excited to join.
Congrats on the new role. What excites you the most about joining Checkmarx?
Ultimately, it's about putting fantastic products in front of customer challenges. The reputation CX has built, backed with industry and analyst recognition in conjunction with the senior leadership vision for the future made this decision a no brainer!
What is your mission in your role?
I am leading Worldwide channels and alliances -- my number one focus is the delivery of scalable and repeatable interaction with our partners. As a channel-first company, ensuring we maintain a GTM strategy that works for both the largest and smallest partners and whether they are resellers, service providers or large solution integrators alike.
What channel and partner strategy does Checkmarx have? What should partners expect from Checkmarx moving forward?
2022 is fundamentally a year of massive investment in the channel. All new MDF and rebate programs have been implemented to enhance our channel relationships (on the back of a revised channel program in 2021). We are looking to expand our partner ecosystem across the globe and ensure our channel-first strategy remains at the forefront of our strategy. In addition, we will be enhancing our service provider and SI relationships as we embrace our cloud-first strategy, thus enabling the channel to seek new revenue capabilities with new and improved routes to market.
