ArmorCode Elevates AI-Powered ASPM with New Modules for Penetration Tests and Exceptions Management

ArmorCode, a leader in AI-powered Application Security Posture Management (ASPM), is enhancing its platform capabilities with the launch of two new modules aimed at streamlining the management of penetration tests and exceptions, thereby significantly accelerating the remediation of vulnerabilities. These modules integrate seamlessly into ArmorCode's comprehensive security ecosystem, addressing critical challenges faced by modern security teams.

Enhanced Penetration Testing Management

ArmorCode's new Penetration Testing Management Module tackles the often cumbersome process of managing penetration test results and integrating them into ongoing security workflows. This module reduces the time security professionals spend documenting and reporting findings, which typically consumes 50%-60% of their efforts, allowing them to focus more on actual testing and less on administrative tasks.

Nikhil Gupta, Founder and CEO of ArmorCode, emphasized the efficiency of the new tools, stating, "Our new Penetration Testing Management and Exceptions Management modules directly respond to our customers’ need to handle findings from different sources through different remediation paths and routes." He highlighted that the module leverages AI to automatically ingest findings from various sources, including unstructured PDF reports from third-party assessments, and integrates them into a unified management system.

Streamlining Exceptions Management

The second addition, the Exceptions Management Module, offers a robust framework for handling exceptions—cases where vulnerabilities cannot be immediately or feasibly remediated. This module guides security teams through a mature approval process, ensuring that even unaddressed vulnerabilities are managed and documented according to organizational policies and compliance requirements.

Unified Platform, Unified Security

The introduction of these modules enhances ArmorCode's already robust platform, which boasts integrations with over 250 security tools, managing findings across various sources, including code, cloud, infrastructure, and the supply chain. With more than 10 billion findings processed, ArmorCode's platform uses AI to unify, prioritize, and automate risk reduction workflows, catering to a diverse range of remediation strategies.

Gusti Benawi, Head of Application Security at Shutterfly, praised the integration capabilities of the Penetration Testing Management Module: "We conduct penetration tests as part of our holistic secure development process. This solution complements ArmorCode’s integrations with our scanners, build tools, and ticketing system and makes it easy to manage and report on all findings in one platform."

By reducing the lifecycle of critical vulnerabilities and enhancing the efficiency of security operations, ArmorCode's new modules are set to revolutionize how organizations approach application security. As digital threats evolve and expand, solutions like those offered by ArmorCode are crucial in maintaining robust security postures in an increasingly complex cyber landscape.
