Fable Security Launches AI Agent to Turn Emerging Cyber Threats Into Employee Training

Fable Security has launched Briefing Agent, an AI-powered tool designed to convert emerging cyber threats and company policies into targeted employee security briefings within minutes.

The new capability addresses a persistent weakness in security awareness programs: attackers can change tactics faster than companies can produce relevant training.

Traditional content development may require weeks of research, scripting, production, and compliance review. Fable says its agent can create a typical briefing in under 20 minutes.

Security teams begin by describing a threat or uploading supporting material. Briefing Agent then researches the topic, identifies relevant sources, and produces a scene-by-scene script for a two- to three-minute video. Content can be adapted for specific departments, such as legal, finance, or engineering, based on their exposure to a particular attack.

“Attackers do not wait for the next scheduled training cycle, and security teams should be able to respond while a threat is still emerging,” said Sanny Liao, co-founder and chief product officer at Fable Security. “Briefing Agent helps teams take something that happened this morning and turn it into clear guidance for the right people the same day. The security team stays in control while the manual work in between largely disappears.”

The system works with Fable’s Human Risk Engine, which uses behavioral data to identify employees or groups facing elevated risk. Organizations can distribute approved briefings through email, Slack, or Microsoft Teams, then track attestations and measure whether employee behavior changes.

Fable is positioning the product as an intervention tool rather than a fully autonomous content publisher. Administrators must approve the script, intended audience, and delivery channel before a briefing is released. The platform also retains source material, prompts, conversations, and revision histories, providing an audit trail for generated content.

That human review could prove important. AI-generated cybersecurity guidance can become a risk of its own if it misinterprets threat intelligence, strips away context, or recommends incorrect actions. Fable’s approval checkpoints keep accountability with the customer’s security team.

The company tested Briefing Agent with more than 20 customers across financial services, insurance, and enterprise technology before its general release.

“We thought it was amazing, especially for a first try with just a couple of prompts. It was awesome,” said Aneela Prasad, senior cybersecurity strategy and engagement analyst at DFW. “I was very, very excited about it.”

Briefing Agent is now available to Fable customers through their existing subscriptions.
