In a move signaling its intent to strengthen its foothold in the global cybersecurity market, Outpost24, the Sweden-based cyber risk management and threat intelligence provider, has appointed Ariel Katz as Chief Corporate Development Officer. Katz, whose career spans over two decades across finance, technology, and corporate development, will spearhead strategic growth initiatives and inorganic expansion opportunities for the company.
Katz brings a rare combination of financial rigor and tech sector savvy. He began his career in financial audit at PwC before moving into M&A and investment roles at Deloitte and KPMG, gaining extensive experience in high-stakes transaction environments. His pivot to the technology sector saw him invest in multiple startups, including cybersecurity ventures, followed by a corporate development stint at Visa where he oversaw M&A and strategic projects across Europe.
Most recently, Katz held senior finance and strategy positions at fast-growing startups such as EverC and Payset, navigating complex growth challenges in highly dynamic markets. At Outpost24, he is expected to leverage this experience to drive mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships that enhance the company’s competitive edge.
“I’m excited to join the Outpost24 team at such a pivotal time for cybersecurity innovation,” Katz said. “By accelerating our corporate development initiatives, expanding industry alliances, and identifying key opportunities, I intend to enhance Outpost24 as a leader in the market and deliver value to our customers.”
Outpost24, founded in 2001, is known for its Attack Surface Management solutions that help organizations worldwide proactively identify, monitor, and mitigate digital risks before they can be exploited. With offices across the US, UK, France, Belgium, and Spain, the company serves thousands of organizations aiming to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats.
As cybersecurity continues to dominate enterprise priorities, Katz’s appointment signals Outpost24’s commitment to scaling strategically and solidifying its leadership in proactive risk management.
