Vectra AI Expands Multi-Cloud Threat Detection Across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud

Vectra AI is expanding the cloud network observability capabilities of its cybersecurity platform, giving security teams a unified view of activity across Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.


The update is designed to help organizations detect attacks that move between cloud networks, user identities, software services and on-premises systems. These cross-platform attacks can be difficult to investigate because security teams often rely on disconnected tools that provide only a partial view of attacker behavior.


Vectra AI’s 2026 State of Threat Detection and Response Report found that 69 percent of organizations use more than 10 tools for detection and response. That fragmentation can increase alert volume, create visibility gaps and slow incident investigations.


“Running a multi-cloud environment without cloud network visibility is like running an airport without air traffic control. You may be able to see individual planes, but you can't understand how they are moving or interacting across the airspace,” said Martin Roesch, Head of Cloud at Vectra AI.


The expanded Vectra AI Platform uses cloud-native network flow and DNS telemetry to provide observability and threat detection across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and OCI. It also connects activity from cloud control planes, network environments and identities into a single interface.


Vectra AI said its artificial intelligence technology can correlate attack signals, assist investigations and help security operations teams prioritize threats more quickly.


The company is positioning the expansion as an agentless alternative to deploying packet-mirroring infrastructure or additional cloud security products. The release also reflects the broader evolution of network detection and response as enterprises adopt increasingly complex hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.
