Wing Security Launches SSPM for Compliance Tier to Enhance SaaS Security for Midmarket Companies

Wing Security, a SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) provider, has introduced its new SSPM for Compliance tier. This offering is aimed at midmarket companies, allowing them to adopt SaaS solutions while ensuring they meet the basic security requirements mandated by compliance frameworks. Customers who require a more comprehensive 24x7 posture management solution can choose to upgrade to Wing's enterprise tier, which offers features like automated risk reduction, detection, and response.

Galit Lubetzky Sharon, CEO of Wing Security, explained the significance of this product tier. “With this new product tier, organizations unable to invest in a complete SSPM solution can, at a minimum, meet the security standards outlined by compliance regulations. Wing empowers every Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to enhance their company's business results by adopting more SaaS applications while aligning security with their budget level.”

Compliance frameworks play a crucial role in defining essential steps for safer adoption of SaaS applications. Wing Security aids CISOs in prioritizing critical applications by conducting thorough discovery and leveraging its extensive database of 280,000 SaaS applications to assess their security and relevance to the organization. The platform simplifies the process further by conducting User Access Reviews and Vendor Risk Assessments across multiple applications from a single interface. Notably, this new tier drastically reduces the time and cost involved in evidence collection for ISO 27001 and SOC2 audits, reducing the effort from weeks to hours and generating audit-ready reports. Furthermore, Wing's solution can be used independently or seamlessly integrated with Drata’s compliance management platform.

Noam Vander, CISO at Fiverr, praised Wing Security's role in their ISO 27001 audit stating, “It helped us with evidence collection around secure employee offboarding processes and management, application management and review, asset management and data sharing.” ###
