Accenture Expands Cybersecurity Expertise in Spain with Innotec Security Acquisition

Global consulting and professional services firm Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has acquired Innotec Security, a prominent Spanish cybersecurity company that specializes in cybersecurity-as-a-service, cyber resilience, and cyber risk management. The acquisition expands Accenture's capabilities and presence in Spain, strengthening its position in managed security services (MSS) in the country. Innotec Security, based in Madrid and with a presence in Barcelona, Seville, and the Basque Country, boasts a team of 500 cybersecurity professionals.

Accenture aims to enhance its clients' cybersecurity posture and address the growing demand for managed security services across Europe. The acquisition is in line with Accenture's commitment to providing cybersecurity skills and expertise to its clients. A recent Accenture report revealed that 70% of CEOs in Spain are concerned about their organizations' ability to mitigate damage from cyberattacks, highlighting the need for robust cybersecurity solutions.

This acquisition is part of Accenture's ongoing efforts to expand its cybersecurity portfolio, building on its strong market leadership in cybersecurity services. Since 2015, Accenture Security has made 19 acquisitions to strengthen its cybersecurity offerings.
