Zenity, a company known for building security and governance platforms for AI agents, is formally entering the public sector with new reseller partnerships and deployment models designed for government agencies. The move comes as federal institutions accelerate their reliance on AI to streamline services, boost efficiency, and sharpen decision-making.
That demand has surged. According to the Government Accountability Office, federal AI projects more than doubled in the past year, rising from 571 initiatives in 2023 to 1,110 in 2024. The spike underscores a critical challenge: ensuring these autonomous systems operate securely across sensitive networks and in line with federal compliance mandates.
To lead the charge, Zenity has tapped veteran executive Seth Nylund as general manager of its public sector division. Nylund, who brings more than twenty years of experience delivering technology into defense, civilian, and intelligence environments, framed the expansion as a matter of national importance. “AI agents are becoming integral to government operations, but their adoption must be governed with transparency, control, and resilience,” he said. “Zenity is uniquely positioned to help agencies secure these systems while meeting mission-critical compliance and operational goals.”
Zenity’s platform is designed to give agencies end-to-end visibility and guardrails over AI agents. The toolset includes discovery and monitoring across cloud, SaaS, and endpoint environments; policy enforcement aligned with frameworks such as NIST, OWASP, and MITRE; anomaly detection and prevention of unauthorized access; and audit-ready oversight across AI-driven workflows.
Ben Kliger, Zenity’s CEO and co-founder, said the urgency from government buyers is palpable. “Across the public sector, we’re seeing a surge in demand for end-to-end security and defense-in-depth strategies to support the safe adoption of AI agents,” Kliger explained. “Agencies need proactive governance, runtime enforcement, and resilient architectures to ensure AI is deployed securely and aligned with mission-critical objectives. We are proud to support their initiatives to responsibly roll out AI agents across their organizations.”
The expansion marks a milestone for Zenity as it seeks to become a cornerstone provider of mission-ready AI governance solutions. For government leaders under pressure to adopt generative and autonomous technologies responsibly, the company is pitching itself as both partner and guardrail.
