CloudWave, the largest independent cloud and managed services software hosting provider in healthcare, today announced the company has recently launched OpSus Cloud Services with seven additional healthcare institutions—bringing its total number of hospitals and healthcare organizations to more than 250. Additionally, the new hospitals deploying OpSus Cloud Services contributed to CloudWave closing the best quarter ever in the company’s history.
CloudWave provides a multi-cloud approach to guarantee uptime, easy access, and strong security to hospital users. Increased adoption in edge computing has helped to fuel CloudWave’s growth over the past few quarters as customers seek to maximize their existing investments in the data center, but struggle to find qualified local resources to help effectively manage those resources. CloudWave OpSus Edge is infrastructure-as-a-service, located in the user’s data center, providing compute, storage, security, backup, recovery, and comprehensive operations and systems maintenance. OpSus Edge delivers the same world-class service as the company’s OpSus Live cloud hosting, but on hardware living at the customer’s facility. This addresses potential challenges a healthcare institution may face in adopting cloud services such as network connectivity, data sovereignty, or capital funding requirements. OpSus Edge provides and manages the entire technology stack from physical hardware up through guest operating systems and user access.

Newton Medical Center (NMC Health) in Kansas and a regional acute care hospital in Kentucky adopted OpSus Edge.
Cumberland Medical Center in Tennessee, Cody Regional Health in Wyoming, and a medical center in San Juan Puerto Rico selected OpSus Live for fully managed compute, storage, disaster recovery, archiving, backup, security, and systems management. This infrastructure as a service solution provides secure hosting for healthcare EHR and enterprise applications.
The Valley Health Systems in New Jersey and Marion Health in Indiana chose OpSus Recover to restore data to a cloud environment prebuilt and licensed for their unique configurations. In the event of a natural disaster, business disruption, or cybersecurity event where facilities become unavailable, OpSus Recover provides temporary remote operations and access to hosted systems to enable business continuity until hospital data center operations and data can be restored.
A Kansas hospital chose OpSus Recover as well as OpSus Backup, a fully managed backup as a service to manage the protection of mission-critical applications across the healthcare enterprise.
